Say the word ‘Chicharon’ here in the Philippines and you’ll get a lot of excitement on people’s faces.Well, that is because chicharon has been one of the Filipino’s fave munch all the time.

Well, that is because Chicharon, can be served alone with its popular dip, spiced vinegar. It can also be part of of any vegetable dish, to serve as the substitute to the usual red meat.

Looks so delicious right? But before you grab a lot of packs to eat, better think twice. Well, these munchies also have saturated fat still in each piece thus the need to consume this one in moderation. :)

Yum! I love chicharon especially on top of pancit palabok or pancit malabon. Kaso lang pampabata, haha.
