This is what I ate for dinner. I am not that adventurous when it comes to trying out new food.

That’s why when I have found out that Chicken Curry is somewhat ‘Indian’ food, my parents told me that I am not that picky at all.

And so there goes my love for chicken curry. I love it especially when my parents cook it for me. I like it when the sauce looks more orange-y rather than the usual yellow one. Of course, I would have my extra servings when it is not too spicy because I know that my taste buds can only tolerate it to a certain level.

It is always a joy to bond with your family with great food and booze. How about you? When was the last time you ate chicken curry and had a great bonding time with your family?

I mean unhealthy because they are prepared in a not so good condition using dirty equipments and kitchen setups. If you are curious to find more about it, check this video and find out for yourself.

From hopia, to recycled bread and fish sauce using what? Yes, Janitor fish, eww! I can’t take how far they can go about earning something from doing those acts. Good thing, some people told Imbestigador (Investigator) about it and so the police and the local health department joined forces to save us from consuming those dirty stuff. As consumers we really have to be that vigilant if we wanted to only consume food that is really clean and healthy. That would certainly bring value for our money.

Personally, I like what they are doing to expose these things. The public has the right to know these information and modus operandi. Also, the public deserves to eat a clean food because they shelled out cash for it. Check out the video after the jump and let me know what you think.

After twenty five years, she’s still the same cool younger sister who loves to cook and eat. But today, my Dad prepared the dishes that she likes through the years, and one of them is Kare-kare.

She likes it the creamy way. My sister loves to eat this with sauteed spicy bagoong. Check out the other picture below for a closer look.

I just can’t see a photo of the spicy bagoong, on my memory card. But I will definitely update this post as soon as I already have the image up on my photo folder.

Say the word ‘Chicharon’ here in the Philippines and you’ll get a lot of excitement on people’s faces.Well, that is because chicharon has been one of the Filipino’s fave munch all the time.

Chicharon Bulaklak

Well, that is because Chicharon, can be served alone with its popular dip, spiced vinegar. It can also be part of of any vegetable dish, to serve as the substitute to the usual red meat.

Chicharon as garnish on Pancit Malabon

This popular Filipino munch can also garnish any Filipino style pasta.

Plain, packed pork chicharon sold on streets

Looks so delicious right? But before you grab a lot of packs to eat, better think twice. Well, these munchies also have saturated fat still in each piece thus the need to consume this one in moderation.

Now is your chance to share your piece about chicharon. Are you a fan of eating one? Or if you haven’t tasted it, would you want to try one? Why or why not?
